Part Time Nanny Job in Leighton Buzzard
About Me
Hi I'm Emma, I'm mum to Falco (8) and Vienna (5). I'm a former nanny myself and now work as a community nurse in Leighton Buzzard.
We have 2 dogs - a 4 year old British Bulldog called Bettie and a 15 year old Chihuahua called Diego. Both are super friendly but as they share our home, we are looking for someone who enjoys being around dogs!
I'm more than happy to accept anyone with their own children as well as my two love company
My Requirements
I am looking for an Ofsted registered Nanny/Babysitter for Ad-Hoc work who would be able to collect the children (by car) from school, bring them home, make dinner and get them ready for bed once or twice a week (1530-2000).
I am also looking for someone who would be occasionally be available at weekends (0900-1500) as my shifts sometimes fall then.
I'm looking for someone with an understanding of Gentle Parenting (or as I like to call it, Respectful parenting) not permissive but not Jo Frost authoritarian style either. Falco has a diagnosis of ADHD and I strongly suspect Vienna is also neurodiverse so they respond best to someone who is calm, firm but fair and not at all reactive. Ideally I would love to find someone with an interest in the arts or sports as that is where they both excel and I would love them to find a positive role model.
You would ideally need your own car as their school is quite a walk from our home and I unfortunately can only accept someone who is OFSTED registered so I can claim the costs back.
