About Me
Working at an English language summer school over the past two summers I have gained much experience caring for children. With this role I have received extensive safeguarding and first aid training as well as a full DBS check. Throughout the rest of the year I am a student studying Psychology BSc at King’s College London. I am an extremely bubbly character - smiling or laughing at any opportunity - with this I pride myself in being an approachable person who aims to make those around them feel comfortable and safe. Simultaneously, I offer hard work and dedication aiming to complete every task to the best of my ability; while this perfectionism may be frustrating when creating art (one of my passions), it does enable me to embody such reliable and responsible qualities which are an absolute necessity for childcare.
My Experience
Previously, I have worked as a course assistant and administrator in an English language summer school for children aged 8-17 years old. Residing at the camp meant that I had a multitude of responsibilities including: ensuring children went to bed and slept at their allocated times, being available 24/7 to provide support and care as well as patiently managing any difficulties in communication as a result of language barriers - making sure no child feels left out, allowing them to enjoy their time to a maximum. Prior to this, I received a full DBS check (available to view upon request) as well as first aid and safeguarding training.
My Qualifications
I have received a full DBS check (available to view upon request) as well as first aid and safeguarding training - all complete summer 2022 and refreshed summer 2023. In terms of education, I achieved a distinction in my Art Foundation Diploma as well as A*A*A at A Level (Mathematics, Art and Psychology respectively) as well as top grades in 11 GCSE's (10 9s and one 8); although this is not directly relevant to childcare, it means I can provide adequate help with homework or even tutoring as an additional service if needed. Moreover, I achieved a distinction in grade 8 LAMDA, so if your child is a passionate performer I would be happy to help out!
My Availability
I am available consistently Monday through Thursday evenings as well as after school three times a week. Fridays and weekends are usually busier so must be organised well in advance.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
The standard rate is £12 per hour, any time after 10pm raises to £15 per hour.
