About Me

Hi! I’m a university student with experience working with children through school placements, activity support and mentoring-style roles. I’m calm, creative and friendly, and I really enjoy helping children feel comfortable, engaged and supported.

I love arts and crafts, reading, outdoor walks, baking and imaginative activities, and I’m happy adapting to different personalities and age groups. I’m reliable, patient and good at building positive connections with children while also maintaining clear boundaries and routines.

I’m currently looking for babysitting/tutoring/childminding work over this summer and would love to help support families in a warm and dependable way.

My Experience

I’m currently placed at an Infant school (Chapel Break in Bowthorpe) as a part time teaching assistant. I support kids through assisting their educational and emotional development (so everything from sharpening pencils, helping get work done, reading and hugging/playing with kids!) I also have experience providing specialised care and attention to children classified under SEND.

I also work as a student ambassador at UEA. we lead tours, deliver presentations and educational activities to university visitors (including school groups and prospective students ranging from primary to secondary school age.)

My Qualifications

Liberal Arts BA (studying education/art/psychology/healthcare)
DBS (enhanced)
Food Safety and Catering Level 2 Certificate

My Availability

Briefing on your child’s specific individual needs/likes/dislikes/routine is the main essential for me, so I can care for your child to my best ability :)
