My Summary

My Experience

I have lots of babysitting experience over my lifetime, and have babysat for a number of Childcare children, from 18 months to 8 years old. As a registered nurse I undertake yearly emergency life support (CPR) training and have basic first aid skills. I have undertaken recent First Aid course at work. This includes emergency first aid for children & babies. I am good at keeping calm in an emergency, as this is a skill I have use regularly in my nursing role.

I have good communication skills, and am empathetic and understanding.

I enjoy engaging with children and like creative play, whether coloring, painting, drawing, playing with toys, baking, playdoh etc.

I also have experience of helping children with homework and study for GCSEs.

I am a competent cook and able to provide healthy, nutritious meals as required.

I have a DBS (2025), full driving licence and own my own car.

In my spare time I enjoy walking with my dog, sewing, crochet, reading, cinema/music gigs, cooking, and seeing friends and family.

My Qualifications

I am a registered Mental Health Nurse with a degree in BSc (Hons) Mental Health Studies. I also have BSc (Hons) Environmental Science. I do not hold any childcare qualifications. I do have insurance via Childcare app.

My Availability

I am fairly flexible at present, however afternoons and evenings fit better with my other work/life commitments. I’m available for up 6h at a time, on an ad-hoc or semi-regular basis.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.50 per hour

I am open to negotiation regarding my fees, depending upon the role required and duration.
