My Summary

My Experience

I have previously worked as a nanny for a child over the period of 4 years from 2-6 years of age. I would take care of the child when the parents were working or away and during this time I carried out activities like painting, dancing, imaginative games, drawing, walks, baking and cinema trips. I prepared food at various times for the child following the parent’s advice or instructions and also implemented the bath/bedtime routine in the evenings.

I was a nanny for two siblings aged 4 & 6 years of age whilst their parent was working on weekends and evenings. My responsibilities included supervising the children and engaging in activities such as arts & crafts, baking, outdoor games/sports, park walks, and day trips to events such as festivals. I helped the children with their homework and prepared their lunches and school uniforms for the following day. I also cooked meals for the children and carried out the bath time/bedtime routines for them both.

I was a room assistant at a Nursery for children aged 0-5 years. My job entailed supervising the children throughout the day, engaging in activities such as drawing, reading and outside playtime. I also helped the children during lunch and snack times by preparing food, feeding the younger children and supervising the older children. I also carried out personal care such as changing/personal hygiene and with nap time after lunch.

In my previous job, I provided one-to-one support for students aged 16-25 at a college whom had significant identified needs such as complex autism, severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), mild learning difficulties (MLD), and severe mental health. The college course focuses on developing skills required for adult life and promotes independency in order to build confidence & communication. I aided the students with educational and emotional support throughout the day which entailed lessons such as maths, English, cooking, horticulture and outdoor education. I also helped to implement and meet their individual targets, supervised the student during free time, assisted on extra-curricular activities and provided support with all aspects of the students needs such as personal care, transportation needs, eating and personal hygiene.

I am currently working with various families for school drop offs/pick ups and childcare through the weekdays.

I am currently available for ad-hoc babysitting work. I work through the week doing school runs and daytime nannying for various families.

• Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)
• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
