About Me
I am 53 years old, a mum of 2 grown up children and I have two grandchildren. I live in Mickleover, Derby and have my own car so am happy to travel a few miles. I am a qualified teacher, working mainly with 16+ and special needs, but also have a lot of experience working with younger children. I am available for teaching maths and English up to GCSE. I prefer tutoring 1:1 face to face but am happy to discuss individual needs.
My Experience
I worked as a childminder for many years then as a support worker working with 16 + with additional needs. I then qualified as a teacher and have worked for a few years teaching functional maths and English and BTEC Health and Social Care. I am familiar with GCSE maths and English also. I will provide DBS and certificates of qualifications if required.
I currently tutor a number of children from age 4 to age 14 so have a wide range of experience and knowledge.
Most of my tutoring at the moment is after school hours so I have lots of availability for daytime tutoring for children who are home schooled. I do also have some sessions available after school.

BA Hons in Education Studies.
