About Me
Hi. My name is Debbie Hopkin. I am 54 years old, a mum of 2 grown up children and I have two grandchildren. I live in Mickleover, Derby and have my own car so am happy to travel a few miles. I am a qualified teacher and have many years experience of working with children of all ages and abilities. I work predominantly with primary aged children now. I prefer tutoring 1:1 face to face but am happy to discuss individual needs.
My Experience
I worked as a childminder for many years then as a support worker working with 16 + with additional needs. I then qualified as a teacher and have worked for a few years teaching functional maths and English. I will provide DBS and certificates of qualifications if required.
I currently tutor a number of children from age 4 to age 12 so have a wide range of experience and knowledge.
Most of my tutoring at the moment is during after school hours so I have lots of availability for daytime tutoring for children who are home schooled. I do also have a couple of sessions available after school now.
I also have some availability for babysitting/nanny work during the day and weekends, however I am not a registered childminder.

PGCE.
BA Hons in Education Studies.
