Cancelled within two weeks of start date

Extremely disappointed by this unprofessional and money driven Individual. I needed full time availability for my son which was discussed. I explained I had given notice on his current provider and within two weeks if a start date, she messaged me saying she had no availability.
She requested a 100 deposit but did not provide bank details for the money to be sent.

I will not find a new childminder within two week which has a direct impact on my job and ability to be able to work to provide for my son.
Someone who has a level of understanding and childcare qualifications should know this and ensure they are able to continue what was agreed.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry you feel disappointed, however I feel it’s important to clarify the situation.
No start date was ever confirmed, no paperwork was completed, and no contract was agreed. You had cancelled the initial visit arranged in February and rearranged for March, as you wanted to view the setting before paying a deposit, which I fully understood. As a small business with high demand for childcare, spaces are offered on a first come, first served basis once visits, paperwork, and deposits are completed.
Availability in childcare can change quickly, and I informed you as soon as I became aware the space was no longer available.
