I provide a high-quality childminding service in a safe, secure, and welcoming home-from-home environment. Children benefit from a family setting where I live with my 13-year-old daughter, 11-year-old son, and our friendly Spaniel x Springador. My Experience
I have 17 years of experience working in adult care, supporting vulnerable adults with a wide range of needs. My duties included providing personal care, promoting independence, administering medication, supporting with daily living skills, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of individuals at all times. I worked closely with families, healthcare professionals, and other services to provide consistent, high-quality care tailored to each person’s needs.
My Qualifications
I bring extensive hands-on experience from raising my own two children, now aged 11 and 13. Through this, I have developed practical skills in supporting children’s learning, encouraging positive behaviour, and creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. My role as a parent has given me real insight into child development, patience, and the importance of building strong, trusting relationships — all of which I now apply to my childminding practice.

Additional training will be undertaken as required to support ongoing professional development. Safeguarding training will be reviewed and updated regularly, in line with statutory requirements.
My Availability
I am available Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pm, with hours arranged around school drop-off and pick-up times for my own children. I provide both before-school and after-school care, ensuring children have a calm and supportive start and end to their day. In addition, I am able to offer occasional weekend care by prior arrangement, usually once a month.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
Weekdays (Monday to Friday) 9am-5pm
£6 per hour. Any time before 9am and after 5pm £7 per hour
Weekends and Bank Holidays all day: £9 per hour
My fees include a range of activities, resources, and a healthy snack.

Extremely disappointed by this unprofessional and money driven Individual. I needed full time availability for my son which was discussed. I explained I had given notice on his current provider and within two weeks if a start date, she messaged me saying she had no availability.
She requested a 100 deposit but did not provide bank details for the money to be sent.
I will not find a new childminder within two week which has a direct impact on my job and ability to be able to work to provide for my son.
Someone who has a level of understanding and childcare qualifications should know this and ensure they are able to continue what was agreed.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry you feel disappointed, however I feel it’s important to clarify the situation.
No start date was ever confirmed, no paperwork was completed, and no contract was agreed. You had cancelled the initial visit arranged in February and rearranged for March, as you wanted to view the setting before paying a deposit, which I fully understood. As a small business with high demand for childcare, spaces are offered on a first come, first served basis once visits, paperwork, and deposits are completed.
Availability in childcare can change quickly, and I informed you as soon as I became aware the space was no longer available.
