About Me
We are looking for a childminder place for around May 2026 for a 7 month old.
Mum is blind and supported by a Guide Dog, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable around dogs being present in the setting when necessary. The Guide Dog is a highly trained assistance dog and has been participating in baby groups all over Ealing with no problems over the last 3 years.
Mum works freelance and is self employed so needs 3 days at a minimum and would love to add additional days when possible.
We are interested in disability aware childcare professionals who understand the unique challenges faced by a blind parent.

Ivana has been supporting our family for 3 and a half years and is a loving, kind, fun and experienced Nanny. Ivana started by helping with ad hoc days with my toddler as I work flexibly and needed someone I could rely on for additional childcare. Since May 2026 she has also been looking after my second baby for two to three days a week. Ivana is reliable, always on time and practical, her wealth of experience means she is full of helpful advice and guidance. She is also great fun, both of my children adore her and whenever she's around the house is full of giggling. Ivana knows the Ealing area really well, she can always pick the best activity, playgroup, playground or class to match the personality of my little ones. She's part of a wider community of local childminders and nannies so the children also developed friendships with consistent playdates and outings. Ivana also has the magic ability to get my tricky sleepers to do a 2 hour nap! I know we will always rely on Ivana for babysitting in the future and know she will be part of our children's lives for a long time.
