Part Time Nanny Job In Ashford
About Me
We are an English/Dutch family of soon to be 5! (4yr old , 1,5yr old and a newborn on the way in March 2026) We live in the countryside outside Ashford with a menagerie of animals (2 dogs, chickens and 2 cats). We both work full time and would love someone to become part of our family and support us with our little ones.
My Requirements
From January 2027 when I return to work after maternity leave:
- our 4 year old will have started school 5 days a week
- our 1,5yr old is at nursery 3 days a week (mon, wed, thur) until 3pm
- our newborn will then nearly be 1
We’re hoping to find a great nanny and mothers help who can look after our baby son 4 days a week (mon to Thurs) with his bigger sister around all day on Tuesdays too and some after nursery help too some days (can be discussed which days). Rough hours will be 9:30-4:30pm but we can be flexible.
Please note that I work from home so I am “around” most of the time. Which means we can agree on set break times for you too if you wish (but I’ll stay out of your way when looking after the children)
Ideally the perfect nanny is dog friendly, loves being outside, can help prepare batch cook healthy nutritious meals for our children and does children’s related house chores.
We are an outdoorsy family that loves gardening and tending to our vegetable patch. Our 1,5 years first word was “outside?!”
There is an option to be live in in our garden barn conversion with own kitchenette etc (so not in the family home)

I would highly recommend Taytania to any family. She’s been absolutely wonderful and so loving and caring for both our 8 month old daughter and playful dog. They both jump up and down with excitement when her car pulls up. She’s very proactive and goes above and beyond with. We care a lot about outdoor play and she always makes sure they do fun activities outside come rain and shine. On top of that she leaves the kitchen and play areas spotless.
