My Experience

I have over 10 years of experience babysitting children aged between 8 months and 13 years old (though this was obviously less formal in my teen years).

I have looked after multiple children at a time and am very happy to help with homework, reading and crafts. I typically play with the children, cook dinner, handle bath and bedtime routines and do a light tidy to return the house to the same state I received it in.

I also have experience in a long term placement (the last 3 years) with a neurodivergent child who I have learned a lot from about how to support children with additional needs and sensitivities. As I have been in this job so long, it has also allowed me to be involved in his social and emotional development, I have a close relationship with this family and it has taught me a lot about caring for children in a way that supports them to progress over time.

I also recently became an aunt and have loved looking after my newborn nephew.

10 GCSEs (9 A*s and 1A)
3 A Levels (ACC)

Just finished a Sociology degree at the University of Glasgow - MA (SocSci) but don't graduate until December
