My Experience

I have lots of experience in this area because I work in an SEN school for children autism.

I have worked as a teaching assistant at Primary (KS1 & KS2) and Secondary (KS3 & KS4) schools both mainstream and SEND.

Teaching is not just academic. For example, I demonstrate hand-loom weaving at the Colne Valley Museum in Huddersfield. This role also involves answering any questions, about weaving, the textile industry and local history.

I currently volunteer as a scout leader. This role involves managing, helping and teaching a diverse group of children.

I was a reading mentor at a local primary school, helping pupils, especially those with dyslexia, gain more confidence in their reading ability. This role also included helping international pupils get more confident in their English literacy skills.

I spent time planning and running themed workshops for children of various ages in my local library.

My availability is a little flexible.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
• Tutoring from £25.00 per hour

My fees include all of the materials and activities that I use. I am willing to negotiate the fees if you are going to provide the materials or want multiple lessons a week.
