About Me
I am a masters student currently studying at the University of Sheffield. I am from Jersey (Channel Islands) where I spent my weekends babysitting and nannying whilst at school, and my gap year doing the same, whilst also working in a nursery. I have 7 years of experience with nannying, babysitting and nursery work. I have worked with children aged 3 months-10 years, finding each age a delight for their own special reasons! I have always had a natural passion for caring for children - I believe we have a lot to learn from these tiny humans! I have plenty of references, and a strong CV. Your children will be in safe, happy and patient hands with me!
My Experience
I have worked in two nurseries, working with ages 3 months- 4 years in both. I have also been a private nanny to five beautiful children -8 year old girl/boy twins (since they were four) , two boys, working with the oldest occasionally babysitting from when he was 2, up until now (8) and being a full time nanny for his little brother, from 3 months to three years. And finally another little boy, who i worked with in the nursery and eventually ended up nannying part time when the nursery closed part time due to staff shortages.
My Qualifications
I haven’t studied childcare, however I don’t think this is a disadvantage to me. Childcare has always come naturally to me, and I believe this shows as I have been hired by both nurseries and families without these qualifications.
