My Requirements

We are a friendly, caring, and flexible family looking for a reliable and trustworthy nanny/babysitter to help care for our two young children—a 4-year-old girl and a 1.5-year-old boy.

We're looking to build a long-term relationship with someone who will become a familiar and valued part of our family as our children grow over the coming years.

The role

The role will primarily involve:

- Morning school and nursery drop-offs
- Afternoon pick-ups from nursery, school, and after-school activities.
- Occasional evening support, including helping with dinner, bath/bedtime routines until one of us gets home from work.
- Potential weekend childcare from time to time.

The position will be regular, but the days will vary from week to week depending on our work schedules rather than being fixed on specific weekdays. We will always try to provide plenty of advance notice of the required days and times, allowing you to plan ahead.

About you

Ideally, you will:

- Be kind, caring, and genuinely enjoy spending time with young children.
- Be dependable, organised, and able to work independently.
- Be happy with a flexible schedule.
- Have a full driving licence and your own car (preferred, as school and nursery drop-offs/pick-ups are involved, but not mandatory).
- Have previous childcare experience and suitable references.

Above all, we're looking for someone our children will feel comfortable with and who will enjoy becoming a trusted part of our family's life. We hope to find someone who will become part of our family's journey and provide continuity and support as the children grow.
