About Me
Hi! I'm a dual US/UK citizen trained as a primary & SEN teacher (bachelors degree from the state of Pennsylvania). I will be pursuing a PGCE from Sept 2026 at Uni of Leeds to obtain QTS, but would have evening / weekend availability for the right opportunities. Please reach out if I may be able to help!
My Experience
In addition to my experiences working with children and young people in versions environments throughout studying for my teaching degree, I have also worked as a camp counselor for 6 yrs and tutored students in reading, Spanish, and maths. My previous full time positions have included :
-HLTA & education officer at a CAMHS hospital school supporting mental health alongside academic growth and reintegration with the community
-SEN Class Teacher at an independent SEMH school (working in particular with students in years 6-8)
-placements with foundation classrooms in a targeted literacy & SEN support role
My Qualifications
I have a degree in Education from a college in the US as well as current clearances & trainings in compliance with state of PA requirements for educators!
I also hold enhanced DBS clearance.
My Availability
Outside of 8-5 M-F, open to need during weekends.
