I’d like to consider myself a caring and helpful individual, I’m very hands on and can adapt well to new environments. I’ve worked with children for over 8 years and even though I now work a full time job out of the childcare industry, working with children is always something I enjoy.
I can be a help around the house as well as providing quality care for you children, this includes doing cleaning, tidying, cooking and looking after animals if need be.
My Experience
Having previously worked in a primary school as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, I have experience with children with autism, learning and behavioural needs. Working 1:1 with not only the teachers but parents to provide for their emotional and developmental needs. Some tasks include SALT, sensory and other engaging activities.
Within the school I would also manage the After-school Club which is where we would do things such as cooking, art, games and other group activities.
Currently I do babysitting with different families, neither of these are permanent positions however as part of my role I entertain the children before bed and make sure they are all settled before parents come home.
I've also provided nannying services for families on holiday, here I would be partly in charge of the children, this includes caring for children, cooking, tidying and monitoring to ensure the family can have a calm and relaxing holiday.
My Qualifications
Enhanced DBS check, First aid training, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma training.
My Availability
Currently looking for evening and weekend babysitting as I work full time during the week.
