About Me
Hello my name is Tara, I grew up and live in Bridport. Currently I work a full time job so at the moment I am just looking for the odd babysitting job. Some things about me is that I am an outgoing person with a fun personality, I have a very bouncy cockapoo who loves going on walks and I like going to the beach, gardening, sewing. I've worked in a Primary School for the past few years which I have thoroughly enjoyed.
I can also be a help around the house, that includes doing cleaning, tidying, cooking and looking after animals.
My Experience
I have done 2 years work experience in a primary school and just over 4 years as employed work in the same primary school. My job in the school was to be a 1:1 Teaching Assistant which involved working with children with autism, learning and behavioural needs. Working with EHCP children would mean completing SALT (Speech and Language Therapy) sessions, sensory and other activities to meet their requirements. Another part of training I had was phonics which usually would be run in groups.
Within the school I would also manage the After-school Club which is where we would do activities such as cooking, art, games and other activities for children who are not able to be picked up on time. This is something that would need to be planned beforehand and we would make sure the activities matched to the children's interests.
My Qualifications
DBS check, first aid training, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma training.
My Availability
Currently just looking for babysitting jobs or overnight stays.
