About Me
Hello! Thank you for taking the time to loook at my profile ?? I am a nurturing, patient, creative and understanding individual. I love to read, take long walks with my dog, dance and get creative doing arts and crafts. I am here to help with virtual tutoring for primary school aged children - I am also able to offer support to families during school holidays and also the ad hoc babysitting in evenings and weekends all year round. It is my passion to support children, make them feel safe and valued and have a positive, long lasting effect on their lives ensuring that all their needs are being met. I have experience with children from 0-11 years.
I have completed a degree in BA (Hons) Education Studies at Staffordshire university. I am a qualified Level 6 early years practitioner and I am on the DBS update service. I have also recently completed a level 1 designated safeguarding training course and Paediatric First Aid.
My Experience
I started babysitting when I was 16 years old. Since then I have completed a Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education and a Degree in Education Studies at Staffordshire university. I have previously worked as a Nursery Assistant in Stoke On Trent and I have spent the last 4 years working as a Teaching Assistant and Classroom cover. I have worked with children from the ages 0-11, including children with SEND i.e Autism, ADHD and learning difficulties.
