My Summary

My Experience

I volunteered at a Primary School for 3 months, working in the Reception class where I assisted the teacher with her lessons, supported children with their work and helped the children transition to their YR1 class. Additionally, I have 2 years of experience working in a Private Day Nursery, caring for children aged 4 months to 5 years. I mostly worked in the Pre-School room, where I had the opportunity to organise daily activities, accompany the children on field trips and overall support the children's early learning during their time at the nursery, helping them prepare to begin school. I also worked as a live-in nanny in the USA last summer for a family who had two girls aged 18 months and 4 years old. During this time I was able to support the children with their home learning, and also took short trips to many places such as London, Ireland and Italy with the family. For the past 7 months I have also cared for 3 children aged 12 months, 3 years and 6 years, where I babysat in the evenings 4 days a week, and occasional weekends.
