I have over 6 years experience working as a nanny. I am warm and friendly and I love all things child development. I can coordinate varied creative and fun child focussed activities, cook healthy meals & provide a loving environment for a child to feel safe. I have spent the last 2 years studying midwifery where I have gained many new skills for the care of newborns. Although, I loved my studies I would like to direct my career and education in the child development and education field. I love working closely with families and I am excited to find my next family to work with.
My Experience
I have experience caring for newborns right up to ages 11
i have experience with siblings as well as single household children. I have worked as an after school nanny, where I organised play dates, dinner, homework and coordinating after school clubs/groups. I have facilitated a gentle sleep routine along side a sleep consultant for a lovely 6week old infant and I have travelled with families.
I always like to provide gentle introductions to children with a few play dates prior to starting work with a family, so they can become familiar with me.
My ethos is listening to children and responding to their needs, consistency / routine and of course fun.
