About Me

Hi! I’m Shannon, I’m 26 and live in Callander - however I can drive and have a car so willing to travel! I currently work at a nursery and have done for just over 6 years. I love my job and helping the children learn and grow and watching them hit milestones! I’m on this to see what opportunities are out there as, I love my job in the nursery, however would maybe be looking for a change or even just looking to see if I can help out another family where possible??

My Experience

I have worked in nurseries just over 6 years now - I am currently working at Old Doune Road Nursery in Dunblane at the moment within the pre-school age group (3-5) which is the age group I have most experience in, however I do have experience working with every age group as was moved around them a few times as an apprentice and covered in other age groups a lot too!

My Qualifications

SVQ in Social Services (Children and Young People) SCQF Level 7 - gained in November 2020.

Have a CPD folder with evidence of many training course certificates such as First Aid, Safeguarding, Child Protection, Food Safety, Illness and Infection Control, Manual Handling, Anti-Racism in Early Years, Encouraging Positive Behaviour, Children’s Mental Health and more relevant courses.
