About Me
Hi parents.
My name is Giulia and I’m an Italian childminder based on Atkins Road. Between Clapham South and Balham.
I’m responsible, trustworthy and able to organise the day respecting the children’s needs.
I’m very patient in my relationships with children and I’m able to establish relationships of mutual trust and sympathy with them.
I love children so I will give 100% of my attention to them.
I worked as a nanny for 5 years then in January 2022 I had a baby girl so I decided to become a childminder.
As a parent, I know how precious children are and how important it is to feel that your child is loved and safe at all times.
As a childminder, I’ll provide your child a safe, warm and welcoming home-like environment where they can play, learn and grow.
Though a wide range of activities and resources children will be encouraged to express, develop independence and be challenged to maximise their potential.
Due to being based in an excellent location we can enjoy parks, libraries, playgroups and much more.
I do a wide range of activities: art and crafts, story telling, playgrounds, soft play areas, messy play, playgroups, small trips to local parks, farm and aquarium, and lots of other activities that support children’s learning and development.
I have fish, birds and 2 little bunnies, and I believe it is important for children to grow up with animals and learn to take care of them.
I also have an outdoor space where children can play and enjoy the fresh air.
I am able to demonstrate strong initiative and flexibility.
My responsibilities are to look after the children, cook them healthy meals and take them to and from nursery or schools.
I work in a warm, happy, safe, caring and stimulating environment where children can learn about six areas of development through play and leisure activities.
I am very happy to welcome you for a visit and to answer any questions.

It’s going to be 1 year since we joined Giulia and super happy we found her. She treats our daughter as her own. Our baby girl was 7 months old when she met Giulia so she literally grew up in there.
Giulia does amazing care of all kids and everyone being treated with same love.
She does accommodate flexible hours, very understanding and just amazing person.
Always feeling safe and not worrying at all leaving our child there.
Definitely recommend.

I will be fair as I don’t like speaking down on a childminder but I will express my issues. I went to this childminder house for a viewing, as I was interested in my son joining her child minding services. Upon arriving I felt I was greeted with a bit of hostility and distance. Not very welcoming. Her daughter was in the room (which was the main room where kids will be) and she was , coughing and quite sick, just baring in mind I have a vulnerable child. She came very near to me coughing as well as close to my baby coughing a lot. I felt she should have not allowed her child near my baby knowing that her child was unwell with a flu. Nonetheless, I felt as if she was a little hostile and not completely inviting. She didn’t ask questions about my child, and just randomly informed me that there was someone else who wanted my son’s spot who is full time, as I only needed part time. I do believe she could have not wasted my time by letting me arrive at her house only to let me know she may not be able to take me on. This could have been communicated over the phone. There could be a colour discrimination going on here. But nonetheless, I would not recommend, as my spirit did not take to her. And there was an off vibe I got.
I will be fair and not downplay her environment was really nice and beautiful and very neat. And looks like a good environment for a child to go to. But the vibes I got was off, mixed with possible discrimination that I felt from her especially with the odd looks and very offish overall vibes.

A fabulous childminding setting with lots of play activities, a garden like a mini playground and some animals. My daughter loved her time there and particularly praised the yummy lunches (home made) and fun with the fury ones.

Giulia has cared for my boy Diego fulltime for 4 months at her home daycare centre. She is so kind to him and he looks forward to seeing her every day. She entertains him with lots of activities and day trips so he always has a fun and active day. Her home is very well set up to have children, and it really is a home away from home. I feel very comfortable leaving Diego with Giulia as it is feels like his second family.

Giulia was my nanny since when my baby boy was 10 months old.
Leo loved Giulia from the first day and always happy when she arrived.
She took care of him as her own.
Sadly Leo turned 2 so we have to moved him to nursery but Leo is still asking about Giulia.
I'm sure she will look after your Child with love and kindness as she did with mine.
Super highly recommend childminder.
