A family of four, our two children (one boy, one girl) are 3 years and 9 months old.
My Requirements
My husband and I are both doctors and have a wonderful childminder that our eldest has been going to for 2.5yrs and who our daughter will start with in September when I return to work from maternity leave. Given our long hours we would like to reduce the impact of the evenings on all of us as a family. We are looking for someone who would be willing to work 3-7pm undertaking some household tasks such as washing / meal prep and then collecting the children at 5pm from the childminder (5 mins drive) and providing snack, playtime, bath time. Driving licence is essential, own car is desirable.
We are looking for someone kind, reliable and enthusiastic who fosters creativity and has a strong ethos for learning through play.

Childminder doesn’t do Emma justice as a job title. She is so much more than that to us and our son. Working in the NHS my husband and I have unpredictable days that can sometimes change at short notice. This has never once been a problem with Emma, she is so accommodating, understanding and kind and we will never be able to express how grateful we are for this. Over the last couple of years we have watched our son grow into this bubbly, confident, content little boy with his buddies in a house bursting at the seams with love and happiness. Emma’s home set up is ideal for learning through play, and beyond that they have so many opportunities for day trips which is just fantastic and so enriching for all of them as a group - there’s a reason she gains outstanding ratings at Ofsted (and why our son will often refuse to get in the car without a big hug and a kiss goodbye from Emma!!) The best decision we ever made for him xx
