Hi, my name is Kaylie, I’m a fully qualified Primary School Teacher with 15 years of experience, offering tutoring for children from Year 1 to Year 6. I provide personalised support across the primary curriculum, helping to build confidence and prepare for key assessments.
My Experience
Over my 15 years of teaching, I have worked across both Key Stage One (5-7 year olds) and Key Stage Two (8-11 year olds). I have taught mainly in Year 1, Year 4 and most recently in Year 6. I have experience of preparing and supporting children through their Year 1 Phonics Screening Check, the Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check and their end of Year 6 SATs.
Within my role as a class teacher, I have gained experience working with children with a range of additional needs, including ADHD, dyslexia, global developmental delay and speech and language difficulties. I understand the importance of adapting my teaching to meet individual needs and creating a supportive environment where every child can thrive.
In addition to being a class teacher, I have also been Maths lead and Art lead, supporting the teaching and learning of these subjects and helping to develop engaging and effective approaches across the school.
I aim to make learning fun, build confidence and help children feel proud of what they can achieve. Whether they need a bit of extra support or a boost to reach their full potential, I’m here to help them along the way.
