My Experience

I am a fully qualified Primary school teacher and hold an honours degree in music and performance. I have worked in three schools in the past eleven years, I love my job and helping children fulfill their potential. Before teaching within schools I taught drama and singing to young people. I am very passionate about teaching and have experience across all areas of the curriculum, at all stages.
I hold a full PVG which enables me to work with children and young people across Scotland safely. I am a passionate teacher who believes in supporting young people to learn the best way for them. I strive to make learning fun and engaging and hope to support children to find a love for learning. I provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to ask questions and to develop their knowledge and confidence. I have experience working with pre school children and can support them with their journey into primary 1. I have a range of experience working with different abilities and can support children with additional support needs.
