About Me
Hi, my name is Sophia and I am 25 years old. I have a BA (Hons) Education Studies (Primary) and lots of experience with children, and SEN.
I love being around children and understanding the world from their perspective. I like to help children learn/understand their emotions and how to deal with them, I also have knowledge on attachments and understand how important this is for children which is shown in my practice. I am very motivated to help children in the best way possible to further support their development.
In my spare time, I enjoy being in nature. I also love painting/drawing and reading. I am a very fun, engaging person and extremely passionate in helping others which reflects in my previous job experience.
I have previous experience in nurseries, babysitting, childcare, and an autistic school.
Currently working full-time until 4pm with an autistic pupil (for the last 3 years) at a private school. Therefore, I am only available evenings, weekends and non-term times.
I would love to have the chance to show you my skills, who I am and my love for children if you let me.
My Experience
I have a degree in primary education & have experience working in nurseries, for a year with the ages of 10 months to 4 years old. I also volunteered in a primary school with reception class. Along with this, I worked for two years in an autistic school on a 1:1 basis ranging from 4-19 year olds. I currently work in a private school 1:1 with an autistic child, I have supported him for 3+ years from reception through to year 2, with his learning, social, emotional and physical development. I also have experience babysitting a 1, 4 and 9 year old, and have experience as a part-time nanny with 2 families for afterschool pick up/evening routine.
My Qualifications
10 GCSE's A*-C including English, Maths and Science.
Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Paediatric First Aid certifies (Tigerlily)
AS Level in Media and Photography
Level 3 Business Studies
Level 3 Hospitality
Safeguarding training
BA (Hons) Primary Education Studies (First-Class Honours)

My Fees
- Babysitting from £25.00 per hour
- Nannying from £25.00 per hour (net)
From £25 net an hour, this is not fixed and is to be discussed depending on requirements.
