About Me
I’m an experienced SEND TA who has been in this role for the past 16 years. I have helped KS1 children progress in their learning through my approach to teaching and my unique worksheets. Being a mother of two, I’m also well versed in communication to children and also behaviour management due to my experiences at school.
My Experience
I provide 1-1 tutoring as I believe this is the best way of teaching. It will enable me to focus solely on the child and their needs. The first lesson will be to do an assessment whilst taking into account the parents concerns. This will enable me to understand what difficulties the child is facing and then move forward in future lessons tackling their challenges.
Due to working in a primary school for the past 15 years, I’m well aware of the national curriculum and the changes along the way. Therefore, I believe I will be in a good position to deliver lessons which are relevant and concise.
My Qualifications
NVQ Level 2-3 in child care settings. GCSE, experienced working with especial need children.
