About Me

I am a trained actor. I have done lots of work featuring in TV commercials (see YouTube Coca cola Christmas ad 2018 #besanta where I play the mum). I am a mum myself - I have an 18 year old son. We have a great relationship (he tells his friends this apparently I discovered recently, which I was very touched by). I love kids and kids seem to take to me. I am warm, kind and friendly as well as responsible and reliable, patient and understanding. I remember when my son Jake was young that sense of really needing to feel you trust the person you're leaving your child with, and please be reassured I am that person!

I recently worked as an assistant teacher, where I was valued and offered guaranteed supply work (which meant I would be paid even if no work was available!). I prefer to work on a self-employed basis though. Full references available in request, but a few excepts here.

Dr David Rogers was the course director and head of English where I did my degree: 'All of us in the English department found [me] very personable and responsible, very capable, and intellectually and socially mature.'

My good friend of over 10 years, who teaches at UCL, recently did me a character reference: 'On a personal level, I know Elizabeth to be extremely kind, compassionate and thoughtful. She is an excellent listener and totally trustworthy. As a parent, Elizabeth is extremely thoughtful and loving. She always endeavours to think of the underlying needs of any child, considering cause as well as presenting behaviour. Elizabeth is utterly calm and consistent, very encouraging and always aims to positively reinforce and affirm.'
