About Me
I view myself as an organized, dedicated and hard working person. I am very enthusiastic and passionate about teaching and learning which allows me to work well under pressure. Through developing my position as a teaching leader , I understand the importance of leading by example, through outstanding classroom practice. Equally, I understand how important it is to review and evaluate my practice. I am always eager to learn new skills and different methods of working. These transferable skills allow me to work effectively as a 1:1 tutor. Therefore, my current objective is to experience teaching and learning on a more 1:1 basis. In doing this, I aim to develop personal learning experiences that I believe will enable pupils to overcome challenges and a reach their full potential. This will also help me to further develop skills, practice and knowledge and enhance my professional development.
My Experience
I have been a primary school teacher 2012. I am a specialist in English, Early readings and Maths. I have wide experience as a classroom practitioner including experience in working with children who has special educational needs. I have worked as a private tutor throughout my teaching career working closely with children in my school who need additional support.
