About Me

Hello,

I’m Emma, an Ofsted registered childminder offering a safe, caring and welcoming home-from-home environment where children can learn, explore and thrive.

I live with my husband, our 10-year-old daughter and our 4-year-old son.

I was graded Good by Ofsted and pride myself on providing high-quality childcare that supports children’s individual needs, development and wellbeing.

I am also a parent to a child with Autism, which has given me valuable personal experience and understanding of supporting children with additional needs. I recognise that every child is unique and I aim to provide a calm, patient and supportive environment where children can grow in confidence at their own pace.

My setting offers a dedicated playroom with a wide range of toys, activities and resources to encourage learning through play, creativity, imagination and exploration. I believe children learn best when they are happy, secure and having fun, so I provide a variety of experiences including messy play, creative activities, outdoor adventures, sensory play and opportunities to develop independence and confidence.

I have two dogs and a parrot, giving children the opportunity to experience life around animals in a safe and supervised way.

We have a large enclosed garden where children can enjoy outdoor play, explore nature and keep active. I also enjoy getting out into the local community, walking to nearby parks and play areas, and providing opportunities for children to enjoy fresh air, exercise and new experiences.

I own my own car, allowing me to offer a wider range of outings and experiences when suitable.

I provide childcare Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, and my aim is to create a nurturing, fun and secure environment where children feel happy, confident and supported while learning and developing through play.
