Hey! My name is Rachel, I am 30 years old and live in the Alexandria area! I have worked in social care for the past 12 years, through this time I have gained many qualifications and a great deal of experience skills & knowledge in the social care field, I have strong experience working with children and adults with complex needs, learning disabilities and mental health! I am an active healthy person who likes walking and going to the gym! I’m fun, bubbly, adaptable, hard working and resilient, I have a passion for proving person centred care in my job roles with who ever I may be supporting! I have experience in, residential care, housing support and 1-1 support in service users home. I am currently dbs checked and have been for 12 years through my career. Relevant first aid and medication administration certificate.

I am a determined and hard working individual who enjoys helping others and seeing others thrive. I am an open and honest worker who is an excellent communicator and I am able to build relationships and rapport quickly with people I support. I have over 10 years experience in offering a person centred approach to caring for others and I have experience ranging from working with elderly care in care home setting, care at home services, mental health rehabilitation and community setting, challenging behaviour, support work learning disabilities, working with children and addictions in the community. I have 4 years medication administering experience along with coaching and mentoring colleagues as a senior support worker. With the experience that I have I know I would be an asset to any team who are looking for a progressive and forward thinking member of staff.
