About Me
My Name is Amy, I am 23 years old. I live in a village near Diss, I have my Driving licence so I can easily get to you. I currently work as Barista in Starbucks and I’m needing more hours and would another part time job. I used to be a Self Employed Nanny/Babysitter, until unfortunately the family moved away . I have also had experience working in two nurseries which gave me experience with working with lots of different ages of children and coming from lots of different backgrounds. Overall I have 5 years plus of experience working with children and Families. When I was younger I always wanted to work with children and I would say my family describes me as very maternal and my dream is to have children of my own in the near future. Some of my dream jobs is to have my very own Childminding business or to be a Midwife something exciting and challenging at the same time. People would describe me as Fun, caring and patient, someone with a big heart. I would love to do babysitting or more nannying on the side of working as I would love to gain more experience and to meet new people.
My Experience
I have lots of Experience working with children.I have worked with children aged 5 months to 9 years. I used to work in a primary school working with children aged 4-6 years and complex needs. I used to work in a nursery near the RAF based which allowed me to form closer connections with a wider range of community and working to support children while their parents where away in the RAF. I used to work as a self employed Nanny which has taught me to communicate, adjust and manage lots of different tasks at once while giving and performing the best care I could to support the family I looked after.
I used to work in a Montessori Nursery just outside Diss (Stuston) which I work with children aged 5 months to 5 years. I also have younger cousins that I take care of and I used to help them a lot when they were younger, however they are currently 9years and 11 now. I have also done local babysitting for my village and helping family and friends Out.
My Qualifications
I have my Level 2 Early year’s Diploma and Level 3 Early Educator Diploma.
I am DBS checked and Paediatric First aid trained.
My Availability
My Current Availability Any evenings but I have a few days off in the week and I am also available on Weekends.
I do evenings and weekends but at weekend rate but that can be discussed.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
- Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)
