About Me
Having graduated from university this year, I have moved back to my lovely home of Inverness. I am hoping to pursue a career in primary education and love to create fun and nurturing environments for children of all ages! In my spare time I enjoy reading, swimming, walking my dogs, and doing art.
My Experience
From casual to professional, I've enjoyed looking after children for several years now. As well as babysitting for several cousins and family friends, when I was 16 I volunteered at my local schools after-school club. This allowed me to become more familiar with childcare and learn all the different aspects of it. I have worked as an assistant at a childminders with kids from ages 2 to 12. My responsibilities ranged from preparing meals, to making sure the children were clean and safe, to arranging fun activities. I have also worked as a nanny for a 3 year old and most recently an au pair for a 9 year old in Italy.
My Qualifications
I have an up to date PVG from Disclosure Scotland and a certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language
