PART-TIME NANNY WANTED — NORTH LONDON

We’re a friendly family in North London looking for a warm, experienced nanny to help with the busy bookends of our day — evenings and Saturday mornings.

OUR FAMILY
We have two little ones: A 3 year old boy, who attends nursery full time, and a girl who is 1, and attends nursery three days a week. We already have a fantastic daytime nanny who covers the children until 6pm, so we’re looking for someone to take care of the mornings and evenings and complete our little team.

WHAT THE ROLE LOOKS LIKE


Evenings (Mon–Thu):
6:00pm–8:00pm
Take the baton from our daytime nanny at 6pm, help with dinner, tidy and reset the kitchen and play areas, then lead bathtime and settle the children for bed. We’d love someone who makes the evening feel calm and orderly.

Saturday mornings:
7:30am–10:00am
Make breakfast, tidy the kitchen and play areas, and help get the kids ready for the weekend.

PITCHING IN AROUND THE HOUSE
We’re looking for someone who genuinely doesn’t mind helping keep a busy household ticking over. That means things like unpacking groceries, putting dinner away, folding and bringing laundry upstairs, tidying the buggy, and keeping shared spaces feeling neat. Nothing onerous — just a helpful, house-proud attitude.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• At least 2 years’ experience in a nanny or nursery role, ideally with both toddlers and babies
• Paediatric first aid certificate (or willingness to get one — we’ll support you)
• Full UK driving licence — you’ll be doing the nursery run, so confidence behind the wheel with little ones is a must
• Enhanced DBS check
• Two strong professional references
• Ofsted registration is a bonus but not a dealbreaker
• Right to work in the UK
• Someone reliable, communicative and genuinely warm with young children
• Happy to work alongside our existing daytime nanny and be part of a small, friendly childcare team
• A willing, can-do attitude to the day-to-day running of a home

PAY
We offer a competitive net hourly rate, discussed at interview. Full PAYE employment, pension, and statutory holiday and sick pay. We believe in looking after our nanny well and are hoping to find someone who wants to grow with our family long-term.
