About Me
I’m Lucy a qualified teacher working at a SEND school in Surrey. I trained originally as an actress before qualifying as a mainstream Drama teacher. I now specialise in working with special educational and complex needs. I’m a single mum looking to use my range of transferable skills to support other parents to supplement my income around my job. I’m able to support after school, Tuesday or Thursday evenings and at weekends. I’m also able to be flexible in the school holidays.
My Experience
I worked as a vice principal and drama teacher in main stream school for 15 years and now I work as a special needs teacher. I incorporate drama, creativity and intense interaction to support young people with a range of complex needs including autism, adhd, epilepsy and PMLD. I have completed training in first aid, gastro care, personal care, lifting and moving and health and hygiene. I have enhanced DBS and a driving license.

My Availability
I work full time in Lingfield. I can offer after school/evenings on Tuesdays and Thursdays and over the weekend. I can also support during school holidays - making it work around/alongside my own daughter.
