About Me
Hi, I’m Lucy! I have just come back from Au Pairing in France, on and off for the last six months, and I am looking for more stable work as a nanny and occasional baby sitter back in my home town over the summer months (possibly longer). I am very very flexible with my time and can easily fit around many different schedules, so I am happy to do part time or full time work at the minute. I love to read, yoga, sewing and I enjoy spending time in nature, especially when the sun is shining. I also look forward to working on my own personal projections during my spare time.
My Experience
As previously mentioned, I have been an Au Pair for the last six months, during this time I worked for two different families.
The first was a lovely family in Paris where I lived with them and helped care for their two young girls (age 6 and 11), this consisted of my getting them ready for school, taking them to school, picking them up, accompanying them to their after-school activities, cooking for them, helping bathe them and keeping them entertained without screens.
The second family was from Strasbourg and this role slightly differed from the first as I was a live-in tutor for a young boy (age 10). In this role, I was responsible for teaching him English every day for at least an hour, but I also would occasionally collect him from school and keep him entertained on his days off school.
I have also had experience as an after school nanny for a family in Bath, this role consisted of me picking up the children (age 6 and 7) from school, making them dinner, creating fun and engaging activities with them (without screens), and getting them ready for bed before their parents came home.
Whilst I was at university, I was involved in the National Saturday Club, where I was responsible for looking after a large group of children (15-25 participants) who were between the ages of 13-15, alongside the national trust club leader. Towards the end of the year, we took them on an overnight trip to London for their final exhibition.

I am looking to nanny part time, so as of now, I am extremely flexible :)
