My Experience

I have been a nanny and child minder for children between 9 months and 13 years wherein I have been entrusted to cook healthy meals, feed the baby, provide support with toileting, change nappies and implement bath time and bed time routines. I had the opportunity to take the children on day trips and educational experiences. I planned and led engaging games, supported with school work, played active games and sports, and nurtured the children’s creative hobbies.

I have been a primary school teacher and worked with, taught, cared for, and designed and planned engaging activities, lessons, interventions and specific targeted support for children, including those with SEN. I have arranged trips and activities, with specific risk planning and assessing. At schools, I’ve worked with children ages 3-13 and am familiar, not only with developmental milestones, but also with the curriculum in order to assist your child with his or her schooling. After working with 30 children at a time and managing their individual needs within a classroom, I am confident in my ability to give your children the care and support they need to grow and engage with the world around them.

My Qualifications

Bachelors of Education - with distinction.

Paediatric First Aid, First Aid in the workplace.

Positive behaviour strategies training, STEPS training

Allergy, asthma and epilepsy awareness certifications.

ADHD, Dyslexia, Auditory Processing Delay, and Autism training and experience.

DBS on the update service.

Certified NCSC cyber training.

Certificate in Prevent Duty.

I am willing to undertake any training that you see necessary for the care of your children. I am interested in Montessori training and NCT Early Days courses.

My Availability

I am available from 7:00-20:00 depending on location. I am looking to work 3/4 full days per week. I am willing to work outside of those hours for the right family.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
• Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
