About Me
I am a passionate and positive Reception Teacher from Oxford. I have always enjoyed being around children and their infectious energy. Starting out as a babysitter from the age of 15 I had regular jobs providing after school care and evening babysitting which I loved!
I then went on to study Psychology with a particular interest in child development and educational psychology before moving to Australia to be an Au Pair. During this time I was a live in nanny for three children aged 1-6 at the time of starting and was also responsible for homeschooling as this was during the pandemic. In addition to this, I also had other regular nannying; helping out other families with swimming lessons, after school clubs, evening babysitting and holiday care. I had the best time being a nanny and I am still close to the families to this day!
On return to Oxford, I decided I would do a teaching degree to pursue my interest in child development and education. I was awarded with a distinction and am now a Reception teacher in Oxford! I have so many ideas and activities to help children develop and would be happy to help out with tutoring or homework as well as having a genuine love for child care. I am looking to help out any families in the Summer or other Holidays with nannying or babysitting as well as weekend babysitting all year round!
My Experience
I have 10 years of babysitting experience and 2 year live in nanny experience. I have a Teaching degree in Primary Education and am currently a Reception Teacher.
My Qualifications
I have a Bachelor of Science Psychology Degree from the University of Nottingham as well as a distinction in a PGCE with QTS from Oxford Brookes University.
