My Experience

I have provided one-on-one tutoring to students preparing for their GCSEs, helping them improve their understanding, confidence, and exam performance. I have also babysat for families, ensuring the children are cared for in a safe and engaging environment, from ages 3 - 15. Within my school, I volunteered as a teaching assistant, supporting my teachers and working directly with younger students to enhance their learning experience and provide support. I have also worked as an OC within Boots Opticians, in this role, I frequently worked with children, ensuring they felt comfortable and at ease during pre-screening tests and picking out glasses. I developed strong communication and interpersonal skills, helping to explain procedures and glasses choices in an age-appropriate and reassuring manner. I also gained experience in problem-solving and multitasking in a busy environment, skills which are invaluable in childcare settings.
