Hello, me and my wife (Sophie) work partially from home with hybrid hours and are looking for a part-time nanny to fill in some gaps as our childminder has closed her business with immediate effect. We need urgent childcare for the moment which will be for at least 3 weeks from today.
My Requirements
The childcare would consist of looking after the younger of my 2 daughters (1 year) most of the time but also sometimes my older daughter (3 years) during work hours for at least monday Tuesday, Wednesday for the next 3 weeks.

We had booked Kerrie in advance to do Monday Tuesday for 3 weeks. She cancelled last minute 30 minutes before on the first day. That week didn’t happen. The following week we gave her the benefit of the doubt, and took her reasoning as genuine so gave her another chance. She cancelled again with 10 minutes to go even though I’d double confirmed the day before. Waste of time, wouldn’t recommend booking if you actually want childcare. I mentioned I would complain and she said it wouldn’t matter because she had a “pristine record” not anymore.

They did book for 3 weeks mon -wed then cancelled 2 days of first at short notice and 1 day of the 2 remaining weeks based on the I decided not to take position as they moved amount of days from original booking
