About Me
Im an ofstead registered childminder offering flexible childcare After working shifts all my life as a single parent i understand the difficulties in finding childcare that fits different working hours
Ive recently retired from 40 years working in learning disabilities and mental health
My passion has always been caring for children My own 4 are grown now and have kids of their own
I offer childcare with as much flexibility as possible catering for shift workers I can open early if needed
Large garden with toys and playroom for children I provide all food and snacks I have business insurance for my car and appropriate car seats for outing to parks and activities
Peadiatric first aid trained
My Experience
children need love care and attention I feel privileged to be able to provide this to the children in my care I beleive that children benefit from lots of play time adult interaction and being part of a group this is why I taylor my activities to ensure the children in my care attend play groups gym clubs parks and playgrounds I love getting the kids outdoors splashing in puddles spotting squirrels swinging on swings I have a lovely garden space also with play equipment for all Rainy day activities are fun and inclusive so expect your child to bring home pictures suncatches cakes etc from their time with me

We feel so lucky to have found Rose as our daughter’s childminder. From the moment you step into her home, it’s clear how much love and care she puts into making it a welcoming, safe, and fun environment for the children. She has a dedicated playroom that’s full of toys, books, and creative materials, and it’s always set up to keep the kids engaged and happy.
Our daughter absolutely loves going to Rose’s. As parents, that gives us such peace of mind. We feel completely relaxed knowing she’s in such good hands.
One of the things we really appreciate is how Rose ensures the children are always doing different activities—whether it’s crafts, outdoor play, gymnastics class, play group, or learning through fun games. There’s always something new and exciting planned, and it’s clear how much thought she puts into making every day special for them.
Most importantly, we trust Rose completely. She’s kind, patient, and professional, and it’s obvious how much she genuinely cares about the children she looks after. We couldn’t ask for a better childminder.
