About Me
Hello! My name is Zoe, I am a passionate children’s educator with years of varied experience, currently looking for some temporary work across the next two months in and around Bristol. My childcare approach aims to incorporate lots of creative and outdoor based play, ranging from arts and crafts to music and singing, and learning through spending time in nature. As well as being a childcare provider, I am a musician, performer and artist which has allowed me to develop many interchangeable skills that support these aims. I love to follow each individual child’s interests and do my best to support their development through my own experiences and knowledge. I have lived plantbased for many years and love to cook tasty and nutritious meals, something I am always happy to provide alongside my nanny service as well as any general household upkeep.
My Experience
Before any professional experience, I grew up babysitting for various neighbours and family, and have always shown intuitive competence and great care. After moving to Bristol in 2022 to study music, I worked for a Childcare agency at multiple nurseries across the city. Here I worked mostly with under 2s, gaining a plethora of knowledge surrounding this age range. Since then I have been privately employed by a few different families, with children ranging from 4 to 13, offering my services accordingly to their needs. For instance, I spent 6 months supporting a lovely family and their 4-year-old twins, collecting them from school each day, accompanying them on play dates and entertaining them into the evening. I also spent some time last summer working for a family of 3 children, aged 7, 9 and 12, in this employment I was able to provide some lessons in guitar which they had showed great interest in, helping them to develop each day until they found accomplishment. Over the last 9 months I have been employed at a Bristol based nursery, working mostly with children between 2 and 4, where I have gained qualifications in first aid as well as food and hygiene and safeguarding (level 2). My time spent in this role helped me to flourish as a children’s educator and care provider. I am now very competent at changing nappies, administering bottles, toilet training and safely overseeing nap time. Also gaining experience in supporting children with additional needs, as well as teaching phonics and creating and leading educational games and activities. I have a DBS check and have a great passion for working with children. I have skills in cooking, cleaning, art, music and creative and outdoors play. I'd love to be of help to your family!
My Qualifications
I am first aid qualified, and also have level 2 qualifications in food and hygiene and safeguarding. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Songwriting. 8 GCSE's as well as three A-Levels in Philosophy, Drama and Photography. I am currently studying to gain my Level 3 Childcare qualification.
My Availability
I am currently available in Bristol until the start of August this year.

My kids loved having Zoe as their Nanny. She is smart and a natural with the children. I found Zoe ever-so polite, flexible and a good communicator. The kids were happy with her in a concentrated leaning setting just as much as when playing and whatever else.
