Hello! My name is Sophie and I have been working in childcare for over 10 years now. I am Level 5 Qualified, DBS checked and I am also First Aid trained. I am looking to start my journey as a first time, live out Nanny with a wonderful family.
Why do I work in Childcare?
I have chosen to work in childcare, as I have always loved the idea of supporting others with their learning. It has been rewarding for me to watch the children thrive in their achievements and milestones. Another aspect of my role which I adore, is being able to implement my ideas into age appropriate activities for the children! I am a creative person, who will happily provide various activities which follow the EYFS guidelines. I also specialise in outdoor learning, and I would love to work with a family that adores being outside, just as much as I do.
My Experience
I have worked in a variety of Nurseries, Schools and Preschools over the years with children aged between 0 - 8 years. I would now like to progress further and become a full time Nanny with a wonderful family. I have made this change as I have recently finished a Degree, and I would love to be able to share my ideas from the course and implement these into activities for the children. My desired age to work with are children aged between 2 - 6, but I can be flexible with this. I am also open to babysit children of any age. I would love to chat to anyone who might be interested.
My Childcare experience:
Level 2 Childcare Apprentice in a Nursery School, from September 2013 until July 2014.
Level 2 and 3 Childcare Apprentice in a Preschool, from September 2014 until July 2016.
Level 3 Nursery Teacher at a Day Nursery, from September 2016.
Level 3 Nursery Educator and 7 months as a Room Leader from January 2017 until July 2022.
Level 5 Preschool Educator from September 2022 until October 2023.

My Availability
Babysitting - I regularly babysit and I am flexible with my hours. I am free most weekends and weekday evenings too. My hours of availability for this role will depend on the hours you need someone for, so please let me know and I will do all I can to support you. Thank you!

My Fees
- Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
- Nannying from £16.00 per hour (net)
Based off my childcare experience, I would be happy to charge between £16ph - £18ph.
