About Me
Hello, my name is Olivia. I am 18 and currently studying at the University of Stirling with the goal of becoming a High School History and Modern Studies teacher. I am a compassionate and friendly person who prides themselves on their organizational and timekeeping skills. I have worked in multiple previous childcare and educational roles where have been praised by previous clients for my dedication and professionalism in my job. My goal is always to ensure that not only do parents feel confident and happy leaving their children in my care but that children always enjoy and benefit from their time with me.
My Experience
My love for children has led me to multiple different jobs caring for and educating young people. For the past 5 years I have worked at a riding stables where a large part of my role includes being responsible for between 5 and 10 6-12 year old's in both a teaching and general childcare capacity. For two years I also volunteered at my local swim club teaching children how to swim competitively. As part of my role I was put through both a lifeguarding course and a first aid course. In my final year of High School I took multiple volunteering positions helping younger students in both History and a PSE. When home from University I maintain a babysitting role for a young family and their 6 month old son.
My Qualifications
I obtained my most recent qualification in First Aid and AED use in the spring of this year, this included a class on the prevention of choking in infants and children. I also hold a full British drivers license.
My Availability
Due to my University commitments my schedule is likely to change week upon week, however this is unlikely to greatly affect my availability.
