About Me
Hello, my names is Salwa, I’m an Ofsted registered childminder. I have previous experience in caring for children as a mother of 4 and a nursery nurse. I have raised 4 children two of whom are now adults and have flourished into higher education. I have spent a lot of time around children thanks to my job as a nursery nurse and I am able to connect with children on a deeper level as well as to help them with their social, practical, and emotional development.
My Experience
I have been trained as a childminder and also trained to understand the EYFS curriculum so that I can provide the most effective learning environment for children so that they can thrive. Additional I took a safeguarding course to ensure a safe environment.
I worked as a nursery nurse since 2005 at a private nursery I’ve learnt to do with the struggles that kids have had such as asthmas, allegories’, eczema, rashes, medication (epi-pen) and well equipped for anything as well as a paediatric first aid qualification.

My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
My childminder fee is £8 for week days
For early starts and late finishes as well as pick up and drop off is £10 per hour
Early start from 6:00 am and late finishes is 10:00 pm.
Babies 0-12 months £10 per hour
My childminder fee is £10 for weekends

Salwa is fantastic with my son. He loves spending time in her care, playing with other children, doing craft, playing dress ups and learning. He is always very happy when being picked up and looking forward to be back the next day. Couldn't be happier with Bright J, thank you Salwa!

Sister Salwa is great with my son, He never cried when I dropped him off. He looks forward to and enjoys his days at her home playing with the other children, toys and learning. Salwa has a gift and passion for working with kids, she assesses and tailors children's development. Friendly atmosphere and environment. Plenty of fun toys, TV and music all child-friendly. The setting is clean and hygienic. Great communication and professionalism.
I would highly recommend this service to all parents. I was struggling to look for a reliable childminder. Thanks to Sister Salwa
