Hello! My name is Diana and I am from Portugal, but have been living in the Uk for about 7 years now. I came to study a Fine Arts Degree and later studied a Masters Degree in Film Production. I work as a freelancer in different creative projects and aim to work with children too, to complete my working schedule.
I am a friendly, patient and creative person who really enjoys working with children. I have one year of experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant, where I supported children with different needs in their learning and day-to-day activities.
I enjoy getting to know each child and finding activities that suit their personality and interests. I love creative activities, drawing, painting, crafts, games and generally finding fun ways to keep children engaged. I’m also happy to help with homework, everyday routines and giving a hand in homekeeping and cooking!
I’m responsible, attentive and calm, and I understand how important it is for children to feel safe and comfortable with the person looking after them. I also really value communication with parents so that they can feel confident that their children are in good hands.
My Experience
I worked for one year (2024-2025) as a SEN Teaching Assistant in different schools, supporting children with additional needs (ages 5-13). I helped children with their learning, classroom activities and day-to-day routines, adapting my approach depending on what each child needed.
This experience taught me to be patient, understanding and attentive, and to stay calm when situations are challenging. I really enjoyed building relationships with the children and seeing their confidence grow.
Alongside this, I also have been ocasionally babysitting my friends children for the last 4 years and enjoy offering them different immersive experiences such as trips to galleries, workshops, farms...
I also have experience working in hospitality and events, which has given me lots of experience communicating with people, being responsible and working in busy environments.
Outside of work, I’m an artist and enjoy drawing, painting and trying different creative activities. I’d love to bring some of that creativity into childcare and help your children develop important skills.

My Availability
I’m fairly flexible with my availability and can be available during weekdays and weekends, depending on the day and time. I’m happy to discuss regular or occasional childcare and can be flexible around your family’s schedule where possible.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
My standard rate is 13£ per hour, but my fees are flexible depending on the type of childcare, number of children, hours required and any additional responsibilities. I’m happy to discuss the details with parents beforehand and agree on a rate that works for both of us.
