My Experience
I am a SEN specialist, with experience working with children, from the age of 6 to 18, for over 5 years as a tutor and as a Brownie unit Leader in GirlGuiding. I have worked as a Lead Autism and Individual Needs Support Specialist, working with young people and young adults with complex and profound additional needs, including autism, ADHD, PDA, epilepsy and bipolar disorder as well as physical disabilities. Familiar with the use of PECS, Zones of regulation, SCERTS and AAC devices. I have emergency first aid at work training, and epilepsy awareness & buccal administration training.
My Qualifications
10 GCSEs at grade 8 and 9
3 A levels at A*, with A* EPQ
2 years of experience working with SEN, 1 with PMLD, and complex and profound additional needs.
CPD in understanding autism, understanding ADHD, safeguarding young people, safeguarding young people with SEN and disabilities
Full enhanced DBS on update service
Full driving licence and own car
