About Me
I have my own classroom at home and teach English, Maths and Music (piano, guitar and singing) from KS1 up to KS5 and beyond.
I also do childminding and I specialise in working with children with autism, ADHD, EBD and dyslexia.
As a private tutor, every child is different; therefore, lessons are bespoke but follow the national curriculum, nevertheless.
Children can be prepared for the ABRSM piano exams or learn for fun.
As a childminder/babysitter, my time with your child typically includes creative play, reading, storytelling, supporting early language development and helping children develop creativity and imagination.
My Experience
I have been a qualified school teacher since 1997 and specialised in working with children/students with SEN. I began my teaching career as a primary school teacher, later also working in nurseries - caring for babies and early years children - during the school holidays.

Venus has been a fantastic babysitter to our 4 year old son who is very energetic, can be challenging behaviour wise and definitely needing a high level of engagement / interaction.
He is always thrilled to see her and runs to hug her. She is great at creative play with him whether that be arts and crafts, playing games with him or engaging with him with his toys. She is always a perfect combination of fun and caring, whilst ensuring he behaves himself.

Venus is an excellent teacher, and has helped me loose 10kg in about 2-3 months, with resistance training. I am now looking better and have much better visible muscle definition. She is diligent and put a lot of preparation work into our sessions. Leaving me with comprehensive notes, and meal preps. She is also a walking encyclopaedia on anything nutrition or body building relation.

Venus has been tutoring both my children Maths, English and Piano lessons since May this year and it’s helped my children so much. Venus has developed such a lovely relationship with my children they look forward to her lessons. She’s made them fun, interactive and my kids really enjoy learning with her. Venus has also helped me with looking after my children a little extra if I am running late. She’s been such an amazing tutor and friend, so glad I found her.
