About Me
My name is Kara, i am 18 years old, I am focusing on childcare as it is something i love and that i am passionate about as i’ve grown up in a big household with lots of cousins who are always younger than me, so i would be the older cousin to call to look after them and i love it, interacting with the younger generation is fascinating to me because they have their own little minds and it’s always so unique. One day i hope to be a children’s nurse.
My Experience
I have recently just left a job where i worked in a nursery, i was in a set room which was the 2-3 year olds room as well as sometimes being put in the babies room. So i know a routine for the younger children, im aware of set naps and set meal times, i am very familiar with it all. I also did placement for my college last year at a primary school and i worked with reception 4-5 year olds. I currently work at softplay where i am a host for children’s parties.
My Qualifications
i have a Merit in health and social care child care.
My Availability
i able to do any day of the week as long as i am doing full time childcare, the evenings will be something i would need advance in as i sometimes look after my little brother in the evening when my parents are working. Weekends can obviously be discussed if you can’t be at home.
