About Me

Hi I’m Hannah, I am 24 years old and I have Asperger syndrome. I am a kind, caring and friendly person; I like to watch films, cross stitch and do colouring (for adults). I live with my parents and our dog Luna.
I am still learning to drive so I use public transport to get to places. I can tell stories or play games and cook simple meals, e.g. chicken nuggets or fish fingers and peas. I would also be more than happy to do light housework, e.g vacuuming, washing up.
As I use buses to travel, I would prefer not to babysit until late, as buses only run until a certain time.

My Experience

I have had previous experience with nursery aged children once a week for a few weeks, as I wanted to work in a nursery before. Also, at my previous school, Ackworth, I was part of their autism unit and had plenty of experience with highly functioning autistic children. One of these was a young girl who I mentored and looked after, with a bit of help from her TA.

My Qualifications

I have achieved my GCSEs in English, Maths and Science, and completed many AQAs.

My Availability

I am currently doing a supported internship, which takes up most of the week, but I can do evenings and weekends.
