My Summary
About Me
I collect from Buckstone Primary school on Tuesdays and Fridays.
I look after home educated children on Tuesdays and Fridays all day and Wednesday mornings. We do lots of cooking and science type arts and crafts and activities as well as board games.
We visit local parks, cafes and libraries. I am a member of the Edinburgh Zoo and Scottish Heritage.
Children in my care are loved and nurtured to ensure they feel confident and happy so they can learn and develop.
I live in Gorebridge and have a car. I may be able to collect and/or drop off children.
My Experience
I’ve worked at a Steiner inspired kindergarten in Gilmerton for 3.5 years. Before that I had a childminding business for 10 years in England before moving to Scotland. Previously I taught Food Technology, Btec Children's Care, Learning and Development and GCSE Child Development.
My Qualifications
SVQ level 3 in children’s care learning and development. Home based Child Care, Paediatric First Aid, Outdoor learning and various other Childminding courses including safeguarding.
Teaching qualifications - BSc hons Food, Nutrition and Health and PGCE in Secondary.
My Availability
All day Tuesday and Friday. Wednesday mornings. Most evenings from 7pm sometimes I could be earlier. Most weekends.
Available for the festive, summer, festival and wedding season for babysitting and overnight.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
Childminding - £7.50 an hour and includes all food and most trips and activities.
My Local Schools
- I provide pick ups at Buckstone Primary School
